It really is time to think about your thinking
What Are You Thinking? Make Your Thoughts Count.
It’s time to think about your thinking.
No one really knows exactly how many thoughts the average human has in a single day. A quick Google search will tell you it’s somewhere between 12,000 and 70,000. Even if it’s only half of the lowest estimate, that’s still 6,000 thoughts every day—roughly 4 thoughts a minute.
That’s a lot of thinking.
And here’s the thing: our thoughts matter. They shape our beliefs, which shape our emotions, our actions, and ultimately—our reality.
I believe we’re all here to learn lessons. I believe that if we don’t learn them this time around, we come back and try again. And when we do learn what we came here to learn, we get to go to fairyland—a place where the sun always shines and the moon is always full.
I believe in magic, and I believe in the power of the mind. I truly believe: that we all have the ability to transform our inner world—and in doing so, our outer world too.
So how do we do that? How do we change our thinking?
It sounds simple—just change your thoughts. Easy, right?
Well, yes and no. Changing your thinking isn’t just the conclusion. It’s the introduction, the middle, the messy bits, and the ending too. It’s the work. And it’s powerful.
But where do we start?
We begin by becoming aware of our own mental patterns. We start to think about our thinking.
What thoughts are on repeat in your mind?
What beliefs have you inherited that no longer serve you?
What stories are you telling yourself that keep you small?
What unspoken “rules” are you living by that aren’t even yours to begin with?
It’s only when we see our thoughts clearly that we can begin to change them. This means shifting our perspective, even just a little. Looking at things from a different angle. Being willing to challenge the familiar thoughts that feel so automatic.
Your mind is powerful.
Your thoughts are not facts.
And every single one of them is a chance to rewrite the story you’re living.
So the next time your mind starts racing, pause and ask yourself:
What am I thinking—and is it helping me grow?
Make your thoughts count.
Your future depends on it.
