Make Self-Care a Habit
Welcome to the self-care habit. The purpose of this blog is to inspire you to look after yourself using self-care and self-love techniques. There are many self-care methods and tools we can use, including meditation, breathing, gratitude, forgiveness, dreams, getting out in nature, becoming aware of our thoughts, our habits, our goals, our future aspirations. Journaling is a powerful tool and can help us combine and use all these methods together.

What is self-care
Self-care is being conscious of and actively protecting our own well-being and happiness. Taking action to nurture and prioritise our own physical, mental and emotional well-being. We need to recognise and address our own needs in order to maintain a healthy balance in life, particularly when we are experiencing stress and anxiety. Becoming aware of our own bodies and learning to recognise signs of stress is the first step in the self-care process. Once we are aware we can use self-care tools to look after ourselves.
Journaling can help you understand your thoughts and process
them in a more positive way. Journaling is self- care, self-love and
self-development all rolled into one.
